WIOWIZ Tool Evaluation

Evaluate any WIOWIZ tool for 30 days

Not a demo build. The full tool, on your own designs, for your own internal assessment before a commercial agreement.

What the evaluation permits

These are unusual, and they are the reason to download. In plain words:

Use it on your own designs. Your netlists, your RTL, your dumps.
Evaluate it internally. Test supported workflows on designs you control for technical assessment.
Protect your evaluation. Your licence is issued to your named organization and approved machines only.
Keep everything it produces. Scan netlists, patterns, STIL, coverage databases, reports: yours, permanently. Expiry does not reach backwards into work you already did.
Use up to three approved machines. Additional machines require written approval from WIOWIZ.

The one thing you may not do is pass the tool on. Not to a customer, not inside your own product, not rebranded. Commercial, production and client-project use require a separate written WIOWIZ agreement.

The evaluation runs for 30 days from issue. When it expires the tool stops and your work is untouched. If it has been useful, that is the outcome we wanted: talk to us about a commercial licence.

Licence requests are reviewed by WIOWIZ before issue. For evaluation help, Request an evaluation with your name, company, email, platform and tool.

How it works

Download the package for your platform.
Request an evaluation licence. One message: name, company, email, platform. A signed licence file arrives by email.
Drop it in ~/.wiowiz/vwizlic/ and run the tool.

Checksums

Each download shows its SHA-256 on this page, next to the link. The licence identifies the approved package by that checksum. It does not grant redistribution rights; the number is part of release custody, not decoration. Verify before you install:

Questions

Is this open source?

No. WIOWIZ tools are proprietary and closed source. The evaluation is free of charge, which is not the same thing.

Can I use it on a commercial project?

No, not under the standard evaluation entitlement. Commercial, production or client-project use requires a separate written WIOWIZ agreement.

Can I give it to my client?

No. Deliver them the results. They can get their own evaluation from this page, free.

What happens after 30 days?

The tool stops running. Everything it produced remains yours and remains usable. Contact us for a commercial licence.

Does the clock start when I download it?

No. The window is fixed when the licence is issued. Downloading, installing or first running it does not start or extend the window.

Can I run it on more than one machine?

Yes, on up to three machines approved in your issued licence.

Do you see my designs?

No. The tools run locally. Nothing is uploaded.
